Reconditioned Liquid Storage Vessels and Transports
In addition to its full line of new gas storage and recompression systems, Weldship offers its customers a wide range of reconditioned cryogenic storage vessels and transports. Tanks are available in sizes from 250 to 13,000 gallons and they come in vertical, horizontal and truck mountable models. All reconditioned vessels come with a one year vacuum warranty. The units are completely stripped down and restored to like-new condition before they are offered for sale or lease. The detailed procedure that is followed in the reconditioning process is summarized below.

Reconditioning Process

Each vessel is leak-tested with a helium mass spectrometer and repaired if required

All piping and control equipment is removed

Insulation is inspected, topped off or removed and replaced when necessary

All tanks are sandblasted to bare metal, primed and painted Imron white

New valves, safeties, gauges and stainless steel plumbing are installed
